Hi everyone, I’m Jacob, and welcome to Famous Maine Coons, my CFA-registered Maine Coon cattery. First and foremost, thank you so much for being here and for considering one of my kittens as a future member of your family. Choosing a breeder is a big decision, and I’m truly honored that you’re taking the time to learn more about me and my cats.

While there are many breeders out there, what truly sets Famous Maine Coons apart is the extraordinary amount of time, care, and devotion I pour into every single kitten raised in my home. My cats are not raised in cages or barns—they are home-grown, deeply loved, and carefully nurtured from the moment they are born. Each kitten receives daily handling, socialization, and affection to ensure they grow into confident, affectionate, well-adjusted companions.

My breeding program is centered around what matters most: health, temperament, and exceptional type. I specialize in striking smokes and silvers with large, impressive structure, beautiful coats, and that unmistakable regal Maine Coon look—paired with the gentle, loving, and playful personality the breed is famous for. I have spent years researching and sourcing some of the most beautiful and healthiest European bloodlines from around the world, including Poland, Norway, Italy, and Russia, to build a program I am incredibly proud of.

A little about me personally—I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to birds and even exotics. Over time, my heart found its home with cats, and eventually, with the majestic Maine Coon. I instantly fell in love with their powerful yet elegant appearance, their intelligence, and their gentle-giant demeanor. Breeding this incredible breed has become one of the most fulfilling passions of my life, and I’m constantly learning, improving, and striving for excellence.

Family is also very important to me. I’m lucky to have an identical twin brother—who happens to breed Ragdolls! Most days, you’ll find me at home with my cats—cleaning, cuddling, observing kitten milestones, and enjoying music (everything from Taylor Swift to classic 70s favorites). My cats are truly part of my family, and I raise them with the same care and intention I would want for any beloved pet.

Health and transparency are non-negotiable in my program. All of my breeding cats are genetically tested through Wisdom Panel and have undergone HCM echocardiograms performed by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist. I strongly encourage anyone searching for a Maine Coon to always ask breeders about these tests—unfortunately, many do not perform them, and they are critical to protecting the future of this breed.

There are truly no words to fully express the love, time, energy, and resources that go into my cats and kittens. My goal is not just to place kittens, but to create lifelong connections—with families who value quality, ethics, and the joy that a truly well-bred Maine Coon brings.
